Quantifying Accessibility of California's Coast

In this project, we explore the distribution of coastal access in California by quantifying the level of accommodation that beaches provide. Assuming California's laws have been justly implemented across the state, we hypothesize that the amount and attributes of coastal access—their accessibility—would increase with population in order to ensure equitable coastal opportunities to each individual.
